Exail’s sea-proven Steering and Diving Console (SDC) delivers precise, reliable control of submarine diving planes and rudder systems—engineered for simplicity, safety, and performance. Designed for single-operator use, the SDC combines intuitive operation with built-in redundancy to ensure continuous functionality in even the harshest marine environments.
Exail’s Steering Console (SC) is a sea-proven solution for managing the full 3D motion of submarines by precisely controlling diving planes and rudder systems. Built on an open, modular architecture, the SC is adaptable to a wide range of submarine platforms. It has been successfully deployed aboard multiple submarine classes—including SSBN and SSK—for the French, Chilean, Malaysian, Indian, and South Korean navies.

Exail’s static converters are a reliable energy conversion solution that have been designed with electrical and thermal protections for equipment and operator safety.
The converters can be easily fitted or retrofitted inside submarines as they can be dismantled into sub-assemblies, thanks to a plug-and-play installation.
These converters provide user-friendly solutions for local and remote control as well as monitoring. It is an advanced technological solution to replace existing converters, as the compact design can be fitted into existing submarine interfaces. Exail’s static converters thus allow the energy system to be optimized.

Tailored for military applications, the VSDs boast waterproof, compact, and silent designs, with robust upgrade capabilities. They can drive both synchronous and asynchronous AC motors.
